I'm a huge environmentalist and am happy to see a local blog dedicated to exposing the greener side of San Diego. I'm jealous of the fact that LA has eco-salons, such as Recess, that men and women can go to. When is someone going to open one down here?!!

Blue Marble is a spa/salon located in the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay. The a la carte facials, massages, body treatments, manicures, pedicures and waxing services are all eco-friendly and deeply rooted in wellness.
Gaia Day Spa in La Jolla and Spa Vella are part of the Green Spa Network.
Del Mar Skin Care uses organic, vegan and paraben-free products.
The Ocean Pearl Spa at the Sheraton Carlsbad offers organic skin care products for men and women.
The Spa at Estancia in La Jolla uses natural nail and skin care products.
Locally, are there any other eco-salon options (besides salons that use Aveda, (which is a brand I love)?)?
